When Elegance Refuses to Age

Fashion changes. Trends come and go. Silhouettes evolve, colours shift and the definition of glamour is constantly rewritten. Yet some women remain untouched by the passing of trends.

Shaheena Aman Reeta is one of them.

For the September 2026 issue of GLAMARTS Fashion & Media, Revival of Elegance celebrates a woman whose relationship with fashion has never been defined by a particular era. Instead, her style has evolved while retaining something much more enduring—presence.

The visual story brings together three powerful elements: the timeless elegance of Reeta, the heritage-inspired craftsmanship of Bizly Haque, and the refined jewellery language of ZEVAR by Faisal Tushar.

The result is a fashion narrative that feels simultaneously classic and contemporary.

A PORTRAIT IN BLACK & GOLD

The cover immediately establishes the visual language of the story. Reeta appears in a dramatic black saree illuminated by intricate gold detailing. The delicate metallic motifs scattered across the fabric create a striking contrast against the depth of the black, giving the ensemble an almost jewel-like quality.

The styling is deliberately sophisticated rather than excessive.

A deep burgundy blouse introduces a subtle layer of colour beneath the black-and-gold palette, while the elaborate gold choker becomes a defining element of the look. Matching earrings, rings and arm jewellery complete the composition.

Her hair is styled in a sculpted vintage-inspired arrangement, with carefully formed waves framing her face. Combined with defined eyes and a bold red lip, the beauty look carries a distinctly classic character—one that recalls the glamour of another era without becoming a reproduction of it.

This is where the title “Revival of Elegance” finds its meaning.

The image does not attempt to recreate the past. It reinterprets it.

THE ART OF HERITAGE — BIZLY HAQUE

“Designs Born from Civilization, Shaped by Heritage and Defined by Sophistication.”
— Bizly Haque

The philosophy behind Bizly Haque’s design is particularly visible in the black-and-gold ensemble.

The intricate surface work gives the saree a rich visual texture, while the placement of the motifs allows the fabric to remain fluid and elegant. Gold becomes more than decoration—it becomes a visual thread connecting the garment to South Asian heritage and traditional craftsmanship.

The design speaks in a language of refinement rather than spectacle.

The second visual chapter introduces a softer interpretation of the same sensibility. Reeta’s presence remains strong, but the composition becomes more relaxed, allowing the fabric, jewellery and posture to work together naturally.

The collection demonstrates how traditional craftsmanship can be presented through a contemporary editorial perspective.

REETA — THE FACE OF TIMELESS STYLE

What makes the photographs particularly compelling is not simply the clothing.

It is Reeta’s presence within the frame.

In every image, her posture is controlled and deliberate. Whether seated against the deep green upholstery or resting one hand beside her face, she maintains an unmistakable composure. There is confidence without theatricality. Her expressions move between intensity, softness and quiet authority, creating subtle variations within what is essentially a very focused visual concept.

The camera does not need exaggerated movement to create impact. A direct gaze, a slight turn of the head or the placement of a hand becomes enough to change the emotional character of the frame.

That restraint is central to the story. Reeta’s fashion identity has always carried a certain maturity, and this editorial embraces that quality rather than attempting to make her appear younger or conform to a contemporary definition of youth.

GREEN, GOLD & THE LANGUAGE OF JEWELLERY

The emerald-green environment adds another important dimension to the photographs.

The deep green chair and background create a dramatic contrast with the black-and-gold saree, while also allowing the warm skin tones and gold jewellery to stand out.

The colour palette is cinematic: black, emerald, burgundy and gold.

It creates an atmosphere that feels luxurious and intimate, almost like a private portrait sitting.

At the centre of this visual language is ZEVAR by Faisal Tushar.

The jewellery does not function merely as an accessory. It plays a central role in defining the character of the images. The statement choker frames Reeta’s face and neckline, while the earrings, rings and arm jewellery extend the gold vocabulary throughout the composition.

The result is a styling philosophy where jewellery becomes part of the character rather than simply an addition to the outfit.

THE VISION OF FAISAL TUSHAR

As Stylist and Creative Director, Faisal Tushar brings together the different components of the shoot into a unified visual identity.

The decision to combine vintage-inspired hair, traditional jewellery, heritage craftsmanship, dramatic colour contrast and classic portraiture creates a deliberate connection between past and present.

The styling does not chase contemporary trends.

Instead, it asks a more interesting question:

What happens when timeless elegance is photographed through a modern fashion lens?

The answer is visible throughout the editorial.

SAKIB MUHTASIM — LIGHTING THE REVIVAL

Photography by Sakib Muhtasim further strengthens the mood.

The lighting is warm and controlled, allowing the gold embroidery and jewellery to catch the light without overpowering Reeta’s face. Shadows are allowed to remain present, giving the photographs depth and a sense of intimacy.

The green environment works almost like a cinematic backdrop, while the directional lighting creates separation between subject and background.

There is also a deliberate portrait quality to the framing. Reeta is often positioned centrally, allowing her expression and posture to become the primary visual anchors.

The photographs therefore feel less like conventional fashion catalogue images and more like contemporary portraits inspired by the visual language of classic glamour.

REVIVAL OF ELEGANCE

The September 2026 cover story of GLAMARTS is ultimately about more than a beautiful saree or an elaborate jewellery set.

It is about endurance.

Trends may change, but elegance can remain.

Shaheena Aman Reeta represents that idea through a visual language built around confidence, sophistication and restraint. Bizly Haque’s craftsmanship brings heritage into the frame. Faisal Tushar’s creative direction transforms those elements into a cohesive fashion narrative. ZEVAR adds the jewellery vocabulary, while Sakib Muhtasim captures it all through a cinematic photographic eye.

Together, they create a story that looks backward without living in the past. Because true style does not belong to one decade.

It belongs to those who know how to carry it.
